Axel Labs Inc., a Canadian company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This notice covers axel-labs.com. Axel, our personal agent, has its own privacy policy for the Axel app and axelagent.io, at axelagent.io/privacy (opens in a new tab).

• When you write to us. The contact form sends us your name, your email address, the topic you choose, your message and, if you add it, your organization.
• To stop floods of messages. The form uses the network (IP) address a message comes from to limit how many can be sent at once. It is held briefly in the server’s memory and never stored.
• When you visit. Like any website, our host receives technical information such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you open, and uses it to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Nothing else. No cookies, nothing saved in your browser, and no analytics, advertising or tracking. Every font, image and film on the site comes from the site itself, so opening a page contacts no other service.

Only to read and answer your message, and to keep the site running and secure. We don’t add you to a mailing list, we don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising or to train AI models.

Three providers, each only to provide its service to us:

• Vercel, which hosts this site.
• Amazon Web Services, which delivers the form’s messages to our inbox.
• Google, which runs our email.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this notice continues to apply to it.

These providers process information in the United States, and Google may also use its data centres in other countries. If you write to us from Canada or elsewhere, your message is transferred to and processed in those places.

Your message stays in our email for as long as we need it to answer you and keep a record of our conversation, and we delete it whenever you ask. Our host keeps its technical records for a limited time.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@axel-labs.com. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This site isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If a child has written to us, tell us and we’ll delete it.

If this notice changes, this page will say so and show the new date.
